Dear Mother,
I hope you got the letter that I sent the day I got the wrist watch. That wrist watch has been really nice to have.
Our company commander got word today that our company is going to graduate May 8. I don’t know what the reason is. I will probably know more later.
I believe we are going to find out tomorrow who is going to make trade school in our company.
I have had a cold the last few days. Otherwise I feel all right. I hope everyone at home is. I wrote a letter to Ruth. I hope I get an answer soon. I can’t think of anything else to say. I suppose I will have some more to say soon so I will sign off now.
With Love,
Erwin Holmquist
