Tuesday
Dear Mom,
I arrived here safe and sound at about a quarter to eleven. It rained two times on the way down which made it quite hard to see and the traffic was heavy and slow. Albert’s car was missing quite badly when I pulled into Detroit and that made it hard to drive because the car didn’t hardly have enough power to pass other cars with. There must be something wrong with the motor.
Well I didn’t have any trouble on the way. Max had a flat tire and I stopped and took him to the gas station with it and then went on.
From now on we have to get in at ten o’clock Sunday night and weeknights too because some guys fall asleep in class. So our weeknights liberty won’t be worth much. Only 6 hrs. Well I can’t think of much else to say now so I will close and write you later.
So long and with love,
your son
