Dear Folks:

Well I will write a few lines. I don’t have to go to Code at night anymore so I have a little more time. I got a letter from my Primary instructor the other day. He sent me those snapshots so I will send you a couple of them. I was supposed to have my 20 hr. check today. The Lt. didn’t have time. I guess I’ll get it tomorrow. I hope so anyway. The fellow who was my bunk mate at Primary washed out today. All these boys really take it hard when they wash out.

Say Ma I’m awful sorry I got you mixed up with that cow. I was positive you said you had a sun stroke. So I apologize very much. Because really there isn’t any resemblance at all.

As usual it is roasting hot down here. I had an accuracy stage today. My instructor was the judge of the whole stage. He got pretty mad at everybody.

I haven’t much to say now so I guess I will have to close. I’ll write about Sun. and try to write more.

So long,

Alva
