Tues. 8:00 P.M.
Dear Folks:
Just time for a few words. You will find in this letter a money order for $70. Let me know as soon as you get it. I was getting entirely too much money in my pocket book. I still have about $50 and we get paid before very long. And for Pete’s sakes make use of this money. Don’t go thinking that you should save it for me. Because I don’t want it. I guess if you are feeding some chicks you can use it. If not you could use it to buy the house or make a payment on the place.
I was junior officer of the day today so I didn’t get to fly. I would have got my 20 hr. check otherwise. I will probably get it tomorrow. Well folks I haven’t much to say so I will close for the time being.
I had that plane going 200 M.P.H. yesterday.
So long,
Alva
P.S. It was 109 degrees in the shade today. Nice isn’t it? AB
