Dear Folks:
I sent you a cablegram today. You should get it before you get this letter. I’m having quite a time with this money. One kid gave a half crown which is 50 cents for a nickel candy bar. There isn’t much to tell. I’ll write when there is. I haven’t received any mail yet except one letter from Pug (?). My mattress is in three pieces and it is as hard as a rock. I don’t have any pillow. Some fun.
