Dear Folks,
I am writing this on the train so please excuse the poor writing. We are in Kansas but we must be getting near to the Oklahoma border. It is a little chilly here yet, about like October back home.
It is 6:45 pm now. We are going about 50 miles per hour now. I am in a nice pullman. There are about 200 of us on the train. I got on the best car of the bunch. We eat first and have the best seats and everything. We eat on time and the other cars string about 2 or 3 hours after us.
