Grand Rapids Press, January 22, 1917: KORNOELJE – JOHANNES KORNOELJE, FOR MANY YEARS GROCER, DIES. Johannes Kornoelje, a resident of Grand Rapids for a half century, is dead at his home, 929 Baldwin St S.E.. Mr. Kornoelje was seventy-six years old. For thirty years he conducted a grocery store in this city.
Besides the widow he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Martin Telder of Wayland, and a son, John M. Kornoelje of this city.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 at the residence and Third Reformed Church at 2 o’clock. . Burial will be in Fulton Street Cemetery.
