Leona Mae Telder was born 23 Mar 1912 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to George and Jennie (Kloote) Telder. Sadly, she passed away just 11 days before her 11th birthday on 12 Mar 1923, from acute appendicitis.
Leona is buried at Fulton Street Cemetery. Two years later her cousin, Leon Holmquist, son of Elmer and Joanna (Telder) Holmquist, died on his 6th birthday. He was buried next to Leona.
