Gracewil Country Club was located north of 4 Mile between Peach Ridge and Walker Ave. in Walker, Michigan, just five miles from the Bessey’s NW neighborhood. Murell caddied here in the early 30s. He could never have imagined that his sister Dorothy would someday live on Peach Ridge just near there. Erwin and Dorothy had a home built at 3420 Peach Ridge in 1962 and would live there until Erwin’s death in 2008. In 2006 his daughter Joanne (me) and her husband would build a house on the six acres directly behind him.
