The 1920 Census lists Clarence and Ethel Bessey in Hinton Township, Mecosta County, Michigan. Murell seems to think they may have moved there around 1917. Clarence’s occupation is listed as farmer.
C.E. Bessey in Section 22 owns 80 acres.
