My great grandfather Peter Holmquist, father of Elmer. Born 1862 in Sweden and died in Tustin, Michigan in 1943. Peter arrived in the United States in 1883 and married Johanna Nilsson in 1893. They initially lived in Cadillac and settled in Tustin in the early 1900s. Peter and Johanna had nine children.
